A fun activity for the whole family, Lambs Farm features a farmyard that includes petting areas for the sheep and goats being tended to. Bess Bower Dunn Museum

“Arrive curious. Leave inspired.” That’s what the Bess Bower Dunn Museum hopes to achieve for all visitors. One of only a handful of American museums to be accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, it is dedicated to sharing the history and stories of Lake County through events, exhibitions, and education.

Kids are sure to be intrigued by one-of-its-kind life-sized Dryptosaurus dinosaur at the entrance of the museum. Their Summer Camps are very popular with kids too and are suitable for kids from 6 to 15. They explore adventures in nature, art history and more, by stimulating creativity through outdoor play and learning.

 

Volo Auto Museum

Lake County’s Volo Auto Museum hosts the biggest display of cars from famous Hollywood movies and TV shows. Whether your kids are car-crazy or not, the display is sure to put a sparkle in their eye. The museum includes a whopping 33 exhibits where you can explore just car models, but a bunch of other interesting things to discover from the long and complicated history of the automobile and other mechanical marvels.

 

Par King Golf Course

Billed as the world’s most unusual golf course, Par King is a mini golf course that is sure to let the imagination run wild. It’s has the magical appearance of a real wonderland, that’s why it’s always a win for the kids. Par King features two 18-hole courses that come with 19 moving obstacles and seven water holes!

It is really unlike any experience you or your kids have seen before and is a Lake County must-do.
